What is Okoa Mlo?
Okoa Mlo project involves the development and designing of a user friendly mobile application and mobile website that will be able to provide a platform for the interaction of users with excess food produce and are willing to donate this excess food produce with people that would need this food. Farmers, restaurants and households that have excess food will be able to donate this food through groups such as UNEP and The Red Cross Society which will help with distribution. We are taking up this project to help in the attainment of the UN Secretary General’s Zero World Hunger Challenge.
